ABOUT ME

I am a driven, ambitious freelancer, skilled as a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher. I have a strong foundation in a wide range of dance styles, developed through pre-professional training and a bachelor’s degree at the Academy of Theatre and Dance. 

 

Trained as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, my work and ambitions extend across multiple disciplines. My teaching experience includes institutions such as the pre-professional program '5 O’Clock Class' and the Montessori school IVKO (Individual Secondary Artistic Education). As a dancer I have worked with various choreographers, including Faizah Grootens and Evelien Jansen. In 2025 I danced in a piece by Mexican choreographer Diego Vázquez, for his company 'Laleget Danza'. 

 

I consider myself an overall creative, working not only in dance, but also practicing several other art forms, such as writing and video editing. In 2024 I followed an internship in communication and marketing at International Theatre Amsterdam (ITA).

In 2025 I was awarded the 'Henny Kamerman Danserprijs' for the development of my solo 'GILOT'. 

 

I approach my work with dedication, creativity, responsibility and a goal-oriented focus. I am eager to continue growing as an artist and professional, using my skills to initiate projects and collaborations within and beyond the dance field.
